You leave you’re accommodation after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape draws close as your guide heads for Lake Manyara National Park, the smallest national park on the northern circuit but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s biggest baboon population, Lake Manyara supports large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, elephants and a host of bird’s species most evident after the long rains when the Lake attracts thousands of pelicans who come to feed on the abundance of fish in the Lake together with flamingoes feeding on minute algae, but Lake Manyara is known for the famous tree-climbing lions which can be seen hanging on acacia trees. You will have time to enjoy your picnic, included as part of your day tour. At 16.00, we set off from the park to reach Arusha by 18:00 hours and you will be dropped at your accommodation or place of residence.
